If you need a pick me up

As most of you know, my son had open heart surgery when he was 5 days old last April. I'm going to blog about it when the anniversary comes around in a few weeks. For now, you will have to settle for this.
One of my mothers-in-law, Mary Ellen (I am lucky to have 2 of them) is a teacher. She gave her class an assignment to write a letter to Colt Patrick after his surgery. When we got home after being in the hospital for 2 weeks I tried to sit down and read the letters. I made it through a few sentences and had to put them up because I was crying so hard. I picked them back up a couple of weeks ago and read through all of the letters. And oh my gosh I was laughing and smiling so hard!! Children are so innocent and sweet and creative. They say the funniest things!
Please read through my favorite 2 letters. I loved all of them, but I can only post a few.
Malcolm writes, "you are my favorite friend and BFF (that means best friend for life)! Malcolm, thanks for including that just in case Colt doesn't know that BFF means best friend forever.

Dallis writes, "you will have a roof over your head, food, and water to drink." Dallis buddy, I sure hope so!!!
